The primary objective of the Chamber is to promote, support or oppose legislative or other measures affecting trade, industry, commerce, and agriculture. The Chamber represents the opinion of the business community on the above matters and the economy. Over the past decades, LCCI has remained the leading voice of the private sector through its sustained public policy advocacy, stakeholders’ engagement, and trade promotion activities.

In the last 135 years, the Chambers has progressively challenged negative government policies against the business community, proffered solutions to nagging business issues, and advocated more for the interests of its numerous members. We, therefore, ask you to join us as we roll out drums celebrating 135 years of business advocacy and value creation.

 To our founding fathers, our commitment to the values of integrity and business ethics you laid the foundation for us shall not be altered. We assure you to pass the baton to the coming generations.  May the Spirits of our founding fathers live on.
