Muda Yusuf, an economist and private sector advocate, he had his early education in Ilorin, Kwara State. He gained admission into the University of Ilorin where he obtained a bachelors degree in economics between 1980 and 1983 and thereafter obtained a masters degree in economics from the University of Lagos in 1986.
He was Head, Business Desk at the Nigerian Economist Magazine where he has a rich experience in the coverage and analysis of the various sectors of the Nigerian economy and the Nigerian investment climate. Yusuf started his career at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry in 1993 as Principal Research Manager for two years and thereafter appointed the Director of Research in 1995. He held forth in this position till April, 2005. In May 2006, he was promoted to the position of Deputy Director-General and in January, 2009 he was elevated to the position of Director-General, a position he holds to date.
